This is a fan created character of the fabled "original Super Saiyan"... he is only shown as a shadowy golden Oozaru in the anime, so I to gave him a face and some personality.

Backstory

I tried to image him as a more primitive, strong and lonely war leader... probably fighting in a moment of great civil war in the original Saiyan Planet. He gave in to his power and anger and before he could control his Super Saiyan form he transformed in a Golden Oozaru and destroyed the planet... giving birth to the legend.
The idea is that he is not completely evil and sadistic like the rest but violent and sad due to a life of war and despair.

Appearance

Like all the primitive Saiyans that appear on flashbacks in the series he is dressed in leathery rags, but still I used some ideas of current outfits in his design.
I also gave him an unique face and hair, trying to make him look more brutal but cool at the same time and different from any other Saiyan character. His hair resembles the shape of the hair of the Golden Oozaru.

Name meaning:

Like all Saiyans I named him after a vegetable. His is named after different kinds of algae called Nori that are used for wrapping sushi and onigiri. Playing with the idea that Nori is an ancient recipe used in one of the most recognizable foods in Japan... and him is an ancient Saiyan in one of the most famous animes in Japan.

to be honest i always disliked the whole "super"-sayan idea ... ok the very first state against freeza was cool but after that it was just soooo damn overexaggarated it was annoying ...
thatīs why i consider vegeta vs goku the best battle of the series ... actualy in my opinion they should have stayed on the oozaru transformations therefor should have used stuff as ssj 4 state at the very beginning and put the golden stuff out of it ... that would made them just totaly badass from the very start and put a differend light on them .... ... IMO ... .... ... AND DEFENITIVELY SHOULD HAVE COME UP WITH MORE TECHS !!!! ....

... now your idea of an acient sayanwarrior sounds very cool ... and the charakter looks just badass that even kratos from god of war gets jealous ^^
